For some women, the noise you make in labour may be one of your birth concerns. Maybe you don’t want to make too much noise or make the ‘wrong’ noises. Perhaps you are concerned what others might think.
But the truth is noise may be a part of the process, and until you are in labour you don’t know what kind of noises you are going to make
We attended a beautiful homebirth over the weekend and the mother kept apologising for the noises she was making. Her partner said 'don't apologise - you are fierce'. We couldn't have put it better ourselves. You are fierce! Strong and powerful. Mamas, we want to hear that roar!
